I have used FEDRETIRESOFTWARE for the last several years and it has helped me to provide some of the most accurate retirement estimates for the federal employees that I work with. I highly recommend that you use this if you are working with Federal Employees and their benefits.
I have been using the Federal Retirement Calculator for my consulting business for over 10 years. It is comprehensive, easy to work with and gives a very accurate idea for retirees to count on. I have had numerous clients say I came within just a few dollars of what their retirement amount was.
I am glad I found this product, it is very helpful to me when clients depend on an accurate number.
To succeed as a financial advisor, there are two requirements - a good market and a means to attract and service prospective clients. The Federal employee market is the best market that I have seen in my 40 years as an advisor. It has allowed me to be one of the top advisors at my brokerage for the past several years.
I could not have been as successful in this endeavor without the help of Fed Retire Software. It not only solidifies prospects as future clients, it also supplies a never ending trail of referrals, leaving me with the problem of not “who to see” but how to find the time to follow up with everyone asking for help.
Fed Retire Software has truly been the key to my success.

I'm very pleased about this software because even though I retired in September 2016, I find the overall planning and “what if” scenarios really helpful. I use the program as my long-term "living in retirement" planner. It’s simple enough to use but detailed enough that there is a real financial plan for my (and my husband's) retirement.
I have worked in the private sector and at several different federal agencies which is why I like this software especially. I can track my private sector sources, fed retirement and husband’s retirement. I think it’s a great planning and execution calculator.

I've been a customer for several years and have shared the link to your website with my fellow employees. I'm grateful for the detailed planning your software has provided and will be retiring this fall. The information in the detailed reports provided by the benefits calculator has been influential in setting my target retirement date.

Just want to thank you for this product and support over the past several years. I have used the software adjusting dates and values, and developed a well-rounded retirement plan. I retired and received my final report from OPM and there was only a difference of $124 overall in the values between the program and what OPM states my monthly total annuity is (FERS). It was primarily the federal tax figures I had used in the program that caused the delta.
Great program and really a minimal investment for what it does. I have recommended the program to many prior to my retirement and hopefully they took that advice.

No. The program is licensed to a single user for use on a single computer. Install the program only on the computer that will be used to run the program
No. The program will only run on a stand-alone computer (e.g., desktop, laptop, notebook, etc.)
(1) Software piracy is unfortunately pervasive in this country and around the world. See theMicrosoft study concerning software piracy. Since the activation code will work on only one computer, the activation system keeps the nonpaying customer from gaining access to the PLUS and Professional features of the software.
(2) Microsoft states, “Pirated software hurts everyone from software developers to retail store owners, and ultimately to all software users. The illegal duplication and distribution of software has a significant impact on the economy, costing the United States billions of dollars a year in job losses, retail dollar losses, and governmental tax losses – money that would have gone back into local communities. In addition, companies facing loss of revenue due to piracy must pull resources from the development of new technology, and devote it to protecting both their software, and its legitimate users. In the end, software piracy is unfair to everyone.”
